A very disturbing story, hailing from Wisconsin in recent weeks, witnessed the death of a family man after he was assaulted while in public, apparently because the aggressor did not like his tattoos. What started as an unarmed assault against another able-bodied man ended in death, days later, when the victim succumbed to injuries to his head, sustained after being punched and hitting the ground. While the law delineates a difference between deadly assault and simple assault, most obviously separated by the use of a weapon or not, even unarmed assault between able-bodied men can turn deadly, a concept we should all bear in mind. |

Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrells immediate reaction to Sundays triple homicide at a hookah lounge in the citys Mount Baker area was a predictable launch pad for an attack on Washington States model firearms preemption law, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said today.
Instead of encouraging people to help police solve this terrible crime and bring the perpetrators to justice, said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb.

The rise of specialty, non-toxic metals for hunting-specific shotshell loads continues to boom. While TSS, or Tungsten Super Shot, gets most of the attention for its unusually tiny shot sizes and large prices, theres another darling that has quietly been holding the edge on the specialty shot market: bismuth. Heres why it ought to be on your sporting radar, and what Federals brand-new Hevi Bismuth load is packing for waterfowl hunters. |

Today, the Tennessee General Assembly convened for a Special Session at the request of Governor Bill Lee. While the announced purpose of the session is to address public safety, there is an attempt to force through several ineffective gun control measures that were rejected by the General Assembly earlier this year. As of this afternoon, there are numerous anti-gun bills introduced. We urge all NRA members and Second Amendment supporters in Tennessee to contact their state senators and representatives to let them know you OPPOSE all gun control and ask them to protect your Second Amendment rights. |

Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales on Friday said former President Trump should serve time if he is convicted on federal charges related to his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, The Hill reported Friday. If in fact hes convicted of the crimes charged by Jack Smith and the Department of Justice yeah, I think he should serve time, quite frankly, Gonzales, who served in former President George W. The 380 ACP is the smallest caliber pistol Id be comfortable concealed carrying for self-defense. However, the 32 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) has a devout following in the CCW community who prefer to carry incredibly small, lightweight picket pistols for deep concealment or as a backup gun.

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
To trust arms in the hands of the people at large has, in Europe, been believed...to be an experiment fraught only with danger. Here by a long trial it has been proved to be perfectly harmless...If the government be equitable; if it be reasonable in its exactions; if proper attention be paid to the education of children in knowledge and religion, few men will be disposed to use arms, unless for their amusement, and for the defence of themselves and their country. Timothy Dwight, Travels in New England and New York [London 1823] |
