"I don't think a trigger lock ordinance is going to do any good whatsoever," said Jeff Sanders, a gun owner and north Palm Beach County resident. "You can't legislate responsibility."
Undeterred, county commissioners on Tuesday gave the preliminary go-ahead to an ordinance requiring all residents to lock up guns accessible to children. They also rejected a proposed jail penalty tied to the plan and set a public hearing date for further comment." ----- We need a LawLock Plan. |

It's a low-power X-ray that penetrates a few millimeters below the skin, eliminating strip searches.
But some privacy advocates are upset. The X-ray's scans are so sharp, the user can view the shape of a subject's navel, or the shapes of other, more private parts.
The device is called BodySearch.

Like everyone just because you use a tool in your trade, it doesn't mean you are proficent with it. There are some police officers who only fire a gun once or twice a year to qualify per job requirements.
Other officers enjoy shooting, and sharpen their skills at ranges whenever possible. |
