The mother, whose newborn was seized by state and DSS agents from her arms at the hospital last month, says she fears for the lives and safety of her two surviving children, both in DSS custody. Her 5-year-old son died this June in another DSS foster home.

While not exactly Second Amendment, this should serve as a wake up call for people who still believe that the government is only looking out for our best interests.

KABA NOTE: FYI -- The phone number for the appropriate Massachusetts Dept. of Social Services (DSS) office is 413.452.3200

"Nothing short of revolution can save us now.

What do I mean by revolution?

I mean people must take control of their government, once again not beginning with their elected representatives in Washington, but right in their own backyard. The focus needs to be on town councils, school boards, county commissions, planning boards, zoning boards, etc."

"That's where the next great rebellion must start. If self-governing citizens cannot demand accountability at that level, there is little hope of expecting it from members of Congress. And there is little hope of greater victories that would fundamentally redefine the scope of Washington's authority over our lives." -- Joseph Farah

Sheriff Ron Barker has asked county commissioners to approve a deal trading surplus and seized firearms for new guns and equipment. Some commissioners are worried that the weapons could end up back in the hands of violent felons.

But under the proposed deal, the old guns would be traded to a federally licensed gun dealer! What are the "Commissioners" worried about? Relselling them would be like reselling any other used gun.

"Ryan Williams' life was taken in 1994 when he went to a friend's house to play. He and his friend found a gun and because of an accident, Ryan's life ended. Ryan's story is just one of the reasons that RTV6 is participating in a gun buyback program this weekend."

--"Buyback" programs have been shown not to work, even slightly. What WOULD work would be a nationwide campaign on gun safety, including using one in self-defense.

..."I worry deeply about this. The government does not fear violence. Violence always has been and always will be the major tool of the tyrants, would-be-kings, and other assorted vermin who seek only power and wealth. Men and women who work tirelessly to impose their will upon the people. They may use stealth, cunning, and deception to gain power, but they always keep that power and impose even more tyrannical government by force of arms."... --Mel Young

"There have been so many news stories in recent years depicting Gestapo-like police agencies raiding homes and killing American citizens, often without reasonable justification for either the raid or the killing, that I wondered if it might not be time to strip the anonymity from one of them." --Sierra Times

Residents get $125 or more by calling 911 to report people they believe are carrying weapons without a license, under the new "Gun Stoppers" program, paid for with a federal grant.

KABA NOTE: 1. Paid for with YOUR TAXES.

2. They admit in the article that the program increased arrests for illegal carrying of weapons. WHAT THEY DON'T SAY is if (a) these arrests resulted in proof and conviction, and (b) if the people arrested were committing any sort of violent crimes with them.

THIS IS A BAD PROGRAM!
