There are some interesting stats in this article, if you don't mind wading through a bunch of hooey to get to them.
The funniest one: People in Colorado and Montana commit more suicides because they suffer from a lack of shrinks.
How these people will ever make headway in their attempts to quantify societal decay is beyond me.
And, of course, they place a bit of the blame on, you guessed it...guns. |

Mark Lindsay, a top assistant to President Clinton, has been forced to admit in federal court that sworn declarations submitted by the White House concerning its e-mail records were false.
"We now have admissions by the Clinton-Gore White House, through a high-ranking official, that it lied about the e-mail scandal. This, along with the e-mail threats, must result in people going to jail," stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman. ----------- We'll see... |

Gun-registration bill not moving Measure requiring federal tracking of firearms sits in committee
By Jon E. Dougherty 2000 WorldNetDaily.com
Although a U.S. Senate bill that would require all handgun owners to register their firearms has received a great deal of publicity -- especially online -- in recent weeks, no action has been taken on it since WorldNetDaily first reported on the measure in March. |

But of course they use government lies to do it...
"The number of violent crimes in the US has fallen to its lowest level since the government began keeping records 27 years ago."
"Almost 30 million violent crimes and property crimes took place in 1999, a fall of more than 10% from the previous year."
"A government statement said the figures showed that putting more police on the streets and controlling the availability of handguns had helped to create..." |

It is people and situations like this that have always led me to walk up to cops on the streets, in restaurants, in their cars (these days, a very gentle, obvious approach with hands visible) and everywhere else I see them to thank them for the crap they have to deal with.
Until we get a firm grip on why so many people are behaving so violently, I fear the erosion of gun rights will continue... |

Interesting. Even a cardboard gun will make tough guards stand down, apparently. That says a LOT about the deterrent effect of gun in hand.
This is a very short read about an event that happened at a prison in Rio de Janiero... |

"The free market has rendered a harsh judgment of Smith & Wesson's appeasement of the gun-grabbing Clinton administration. It is very rapidly putting the company out of business. People are refusing to buy handguns produced by what was once a proud American firearms manufacturer..."

This "remembrance" talks about an American who gave his life quelling a Nazi advance on a French village. He was the only American to die in a particular battle on a certain day - a battle in which 300 Nazi scumbags were returned to Hell. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! |

Another wonderful article by a good ally:
"Just five months after anti-gunner Robert Howell was videotaped pursuing and beating a pro-gun activist in Boulder, another member of the Million Mom March stands accused of assaulting a champion of the Second Amendment."
"Up in Fort Collins, Cherie Trine is waiting for the knock on her door. Detective Neil Hisam of the Fort Collins Police Department told her this week she will likely be charged with assaulting a pro-gun activist..."

"The dramatic decline in crime the nation experienced during the 1990s continued last year, as the U.S. Justice Department reported the rate of violent crimes fell by 10 percent in 1999."
Of course Clinton takes the credit, as do anti-gun criminal-enablers, but there is some good stuff in this article, and I recommend reading it. |
