A recent article called for the Center for Disease Control to study gun violence. I think we should examine the extensive research that already exists.
The article claimed we dont know the cause of violence. I say the source is well known. It is harder to change society than to propose more "gun-control".
The article claims that violence with a firearm is more prevalent in the United States than in other countries. Ill show you that the United States is among the safest countries on earth.
The article implies that guns cause violence. I will show you the reports demonstrating that armed individuals stop violent crimes hundreds-of-thousands of times per year.
Will we take the cure? |

Gunmaker Smith & Wesson (NASDAQ: SWHC) might seem like a lucrative investment, as fears of tighter gun-control laws spark higher firearm sales across America. After all, the number of NICS background checks for gun purchases has risen year over year for 15 consecutive months, indicating that sales are likely to remain strong through the November elections. |

Marketers could learn from the actions of CZ-USA. First, CZ-USA captured headlines at the 2015 SHOT Show with the NFA-compliant version of the Scorpion EVO 3 A1, the S1 Pistol. Then, earlier this year, the company did it again, stealing media attention with the announcement of the Scorpion EVO 3 S1 Carbine and the highly anticipated debut of the civilian-legal CZ 805 Bren S1 Carbine. It was the 805 Bren S1 Carbine, however, that seized the limelight, and for good reason. |

A FOX59 inquiry of a law professor, the Secretary of State, a Second Amendment attorney and Marion County election officials about the legality of guns in Indiana polling places led to blank stares, confusion, misdirection and legal head scratching. Over the course of four days earlier this month, Donald Trump challenged gun owners to do something about what he termed Hillary Clintons plans to, essentially abolish the Second Amendment, and also called on poll watchers to prevent what hes predicting to be a rigged election.

An Indianapolis pizzeria wants to trade pepperoni pies for the pistol in your pocket. D & C Pizza restaurant owner Donald Dancy is currently working on a plan with local police that's a twist on a typical gun buyback program--patrons could get a free extra-large pizza in exchange for a gun. When you pass here right off of 36th and go all of the way down to 25th street and over, it is like a war zone. It is not getting any better, Dancy told FOX 59 last week. I can see kids 14 through 18 coming in here and buying a pizza and their guns fall out.

One aspect of this three-ring circus, aka the presidential election campaign, is the liberal-Democratic hidden agenda of gun control. I remember a late 1980s newspaper column written for the 50th anniversary of Kristallnacht or "The Night of Broken Glass," which is generally considered to be the Holocaust's beginning.
