A federal grand jury has indicted a Bristol Borough man on charges he sold guns in Philadelphia without a license and owned more than two dozen guns with serial numbers that had been removed.
The indictment is fallout from Operation Cease Fire, a push by the U.S. attorney's office, the Philadelphia district attorney's office, Philadelphia police and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms to identify and prosecute people believed to be "illegal" gun suppliers. |

"Everywhere you turn, American citizenship is being devalued ... The message this sends to families like mine is that we are chumps. Why should we bother to obey the law? Or learn English? Why study American history in order to earn the right to vote if liberal enclaves across the country are going to enfranchise noncitizens -- who don't even have to be able to read their ballots in English, let alone name the three branches of government?" --Michelle Malkin |

"Of all the problems facing our government schools, parents still seem more interested in superfluous issues such as mascots.
Meanwhile, their kids continue to be dumbed down and programmed as robots by the government school monopoly." --Joseph Farah |

In Colorado, a growing number of suspects never see a courtroom or a jail. Events of this summer have made it painfully clear that some Colorado cops shoot first and ask questions later; and possibly without consequences for the policemen responsible.
"The figures were very embarrassing to a lot of police departments" said James Fyfe, a professor of criminal justice at Temple University, and a former New York cop. |
