Further fleshing out its line of pistol caliber blowback-action LC Carbines that accept common handgun magazines, Ruger has gone 10mm. The company introduced its current fourth-generation centerfire PCC platform in 2022 as a rifle variant of the Ruger 57 pistol in 5.7x28, then added a .45 ACP companion earlier this year at SHOT Show. Now, the news has come that the LC Carbine will be offered in the resurgent 10mm Auto chambering. Best yet, it accepts standard Glock-pattern double-stack 10mm magazines even legacy 3rd Gen models. |

The countrys largest gun-rights group has officially joined the fight over control of the Senate. On Tuesday, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund unveiled a $2 million television ad buy attacking incumbent Senator Jon Tester (D., Mont.). The new ad, which depicts a Montana mother gearing up to defend her rural home from an impending home invasion, criticizes Tester for voting in support of gun-control legislation and being insufficiently protective of the right of armed self-defense. |

Mark Twain once said, Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection. Never satisfied with its successes, Springfield Armory continues to improve. The Hellcat Pro is proof. This compact 9mm handgun is small and simple perfect for everyday carry. Plus, you can get it optics-ready or with an optic included. It even won Ballistic magazines 2022 Readers Choice award for Best Compact Semi-Auto, and after a day on the range with this handy pistol, I can see why. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Besides the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation, the existence of subordinate governments, to which the people are attached, and by which the militia officers are appointed, forms a barrier against the enterprises of ambition, more insurmountable than any which a simple government of any form can admit of. Notwithstanding the military establishments in the several kingdoms of Europe, which are carried as far as the public resources will bear, the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms. James Madison, The Federalist Papers, No. 46 |
