According to a post on the township Facebook page Friday afternoon, Palmer denied a request to hold the event at Fairview Park because it will draw more than 250 people, violating Gov. Tom Wolfs cap on gatherings. The township also says it is unable to allocate public resources to monitor and ensure compliance with the current public health safety mandates for the proposed event.
The denial is in the interests of public health safety, the post states.
Mark and Patricia McCloskey of St. Louis were set to do a rally event to wake up suburban voters about the Second Amendment, individual rights and defending your life and property, Northampton County Republican Committee Chairperson Gloria Lee Snover said Wednesday. |

In June, the Pennsylvania House passed Emergency Powers Legislation, House Bill 1747. Earlier this week, the Senate Judiciary Committee inched this critical Second Amendment legislation one step closer to final passage on a 9 to 5 vote. This important legislation will allow Pennsylvania to join the growing list of states which are protecting Second Amendment rights when a state of emergency is declared.
House Bill 1747 prevents the Governor from suspending or limiting the sale, dispensing or transportation of firearms during a declared emergency. It would also remove the carry prohibitions that exist with exemptions. |

Sen. Murphy wrote a book on the subject attempting to understandhuman lethal aggression and how it can be addressed. He seeks to lay all the motives for violent aggression on Whites, not the gun wielders. Apart from firearms, many are killed by bats, clubs, hammers and knives, weapons capable of inflicting violent deaths. But why focus on guns? Because they are the instrument of choice by gangsta black males and, as more American citizens have armed themselves for self-defense, the Marxists Democrat will be unable to complete their violent takeover of American cities, already underway in Portland, Seattle, LA, San Francisco, Baltimore and DC. by their aggressive Stormtroopers, the Antifas and BLM. |

Pro-gun rights scholars and activists have long argued that the presence of weapons at protests does not intimidate free speech, but assures protection for voices that could be violently repressed if they were not armed.
They say that armed volunteers protected non-violent Civil Rights era leaders and point out that Martin Luther King Jr. in 1956 applied for a concealed carry gun permit in Alabama, shortly after his house was bombed. His request was rejected.
Black Lives Matter protesters also deserve the right to bear arms for protection, argues Eugene Volokh, a UCLA law professor whose writings defend gun rights. |

That sure sounds like a death threat. If youre skeptical of that, feel free to send similar sentiments to Joe Biden about your town, and see if that doesnt result in a Secret Service response.
Its also a telling admission that New Yorks draconian gun laws must not work, but as history teaches us, thats not why those bent on political supremacy really impose them. And its more than that. Its a warning to all Trump supporters that they can expect the same hostility directed at them by New York Democrats and by those they encourage or incite to violence. |

Autumn hunting seasons are fast approaching and if early numbers on hunting license sales are any indication, the coronavirus pandemic isnt keeping Americas outdoorsmen and women from planning to visit their camps, stands and fields.
Beginning in March and April earlier this year, COVID-19 spread across America and has led to a surge in firearm sales that hasnt been seen before. According to retailer survey data, more than 5 million of the more than 13 million gun buyers in 2020 were first-timers. Hunting activities were listed by purchasers as one of the main reasons for buyers to jump off the fence and head to the gun store. |

A federal law permanently barring gun ownership for anyone who has been found mentally ill and dangerous, and committed to a mental hospital has been upheld by a federal appeals court in San Francisco over emphatic dissents by seven appointees of President Trump, who said it violates the constitutional right to bear arms.
By upholding the law, the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals advances an extraordinarily sweeping view of government power, Judge Patrick Bumatay, writing for the dissenters, said Thursday. |

Joshua Powells new book Inside the NRA is being released amid an avalanche of pro- and anti-Donald Trump tomes as we enter the final weeks of the 2020 presidential campaign.
But Powells book is unique among them, as it is an insiders tell-all about the National Rifle Association, known for for its electoral power and lobbying sway, blocking even minimal efforts at gun reform.
Powell was a business consultant who had ties to the organization for a number of years before he joined in 2016 as the chief of staff to Wayne LaPierre, the longtime leader and public face of the organization. |

These facts are obviously going to be disputed and all of this will be worked out in court.
However, Facebook has decided to ban, in a blanket fashion, any expressions by its over 500 million users in praise and support of Rittenhouse, including any links to contribute to his legal defense. Most disappointing is that Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, has previously stated the platform would protect free expression and not suppress speech.
This is yet another example of an overwhelming media presence, albeit a private one, suppressing speech. |

Multiple Billings Police Department cruisers responded around 8:20 p.m. to the 300 block of South 28th Street, blocking off a portion of the road between Third and Fourth Avenue South. The condition of the man is unknown, and police are still conducting an investigation.
The pizza delivery guy was attempting to deliver pizzas, when he claims that he was robbed. While in the process of being robbed, in self-defense hes claiming, he fired a weapon, striking the suspect, said Billings Police Sgt. Clyde Reid. |

A man openly carried an automatic rifle through the streets of Old Town Key West on Thursday evening on his way to the White Street Pier in an attempt to provoke police into a confrontation and to flaunt a state law allowing the carrying of weapons.
The man, John Weaver, according to his Facebook account, was wearing American flag shorts and carrying a fishing rod and what appears to be a loaded automatic rifle on a strap around his neck.
In a video posted on the social media site, Weaver appears to be promoting State Statute 790 that allows people the right to carry loaded weapons if they are going to and from fishing and hunting spots. |
