"The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms urges firearms owners to call California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and tell him to veto Assembly Bill 1471, the so-called 'micro-stamping' anti-gun bill. That bill is now on his desk."

"This legislation, if it becomes law, will require the Microstamping of handguns sold in California with their serial numbers, the make and model on interior surfaces so that this microstamped information is transferred to a cartridge case upon firing."

"It would become a crime to manufacture, sell or transfer a handgun that does not have this microstamped information."

"So Nintendo comes out with a cool new controller for the Wii. It looks like a futuristic gun. Sort of cool, I think. I know my son would go wild over it. My son just turned 10 on September 11. He loves guns. He loves to go to the range. He loves paintball, Airsoft and even video games on occasion. He has fired our pistols, his own .22 caliber rifle and even a machine gun - an opportunity afforded to him by a very nice gentleman who was shooting in the lane next to us ..."

"This wonderful documentary regarding the TRUE story and history of our Second Amendment rights to arms, was produced, directed, written, narrated, etc. by American author and attorney David T. Hardy. But this is not a one man show. The documentary includes appearances by twelve professors of law, attorneys, a historian, a criminologist, NRA Director Carol Bambery, GOA Director Larry Pratt, and more. The film cost David about $45,000 and four years of his life to create, so you know it is not a YouTube effort." ...

"Here's my commentary: I don't believe that any gun should be in the hand of a thinking, feeling, breathing human being. Americans are by nature filled with rage-slash-fear. And guns are a huge part of our culture. I know I'm crazy because I'm only supposed to say that in Europe. But violence corrupts absolutely. By the end of this, her transformation is complete. "Really? Gun control is what is so dangerous? Not our heavily armed society with gaping loose gun laws and loopholes, but 'gun control' is the danger?"

"The fact that virtually anybody can get their hands on an entire arsenal of military style weapons whether it be semi-automatic assault weapons or .50 caliber sniper rifles or simply the sheer ease of getting a deadly handgun and carrying it concealed anywhere in public including hospitals, daycare centers and churches in many states, still doesn't register with Brandenburgh." ...

"What I had a problem with as I read the commentary was his belief, and from my experience many others' beliefs, that looser gun control laws means more safety."

"If there is one thing anyone can be sure of in this country, it is that Americans love guns. Not a day goes by when you don't see a fine American citizen killing some poor, defenseless person/animal with a .50 caliber hand cannon on television, or you hear about some random act of violence (a bank robbery, a homicide, or a crazed postal worker) which involves a gun in some respect. Therefore, being a proponent of living in general, I think it's about time we as a country threw in the towel when it comes to the whole 'I'm from America, and I have a God-given right to kill and spread carnage whenever I feel like it' gig and adopt a platform of life." ...

"The spray of bullets that killed one Miami-Dade County police officer and hurt three others this week came from something increasingly common on this city's streets."

"Once solely found in the hands of soldiers, high-powered assault weapons like the one police said was used in Thursday's attack are becoming the guns of choice for gang members and other violent criminals. And when they are aimed at officers on patrol, there's little authorities can do to escape."
