"Imagine yourself walking down a street where everyone is carrying a concealed weapon. Now every argument, fight or domestic disturbance has the potential for massive bloodshed. Hurrah!"

-------
Imagine the paranoia! Is there massive bloodshed in the streets of the other 35 states that allow concealed carry? No, but there IS massive bloodshed in the streets where the populace is completely disarmed.

"The candidates also were asked a series of rapid-fire questions including one on gun ownership. Both McClintock and Bustamante said they own guns."

"McClintock, a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment, said he bought a shotgun about 10 years ago when he and his family received death threats."

"Bustamante said he owns a deer-hunting rifle but has not gone hunting for a long time."

"Deer hunting rifle" is code for "not a (mythical) assault weapon"! Bustamante proves his ignorance of firearms, McClintock proves the opposite.

"...Cops need to be free to do real cop work, not pursuing the malicious prosecutions of out-of-control prosecutors. The Michigan Court of Appeals majority also exhibited (by referring to non-applicable federal law) the same kind of cavalier view of their oath of office that has infected, by their own admission, four of the justices on the U.S. Supreme Court (Ginsburg, Breyer, Souter and O'Connor). These judges have on one or two recent decisions enthused about the foreign laws they referred to in coming to their decision. All of these judges have violated their oaths of office by looking for legal precedents in codes that are foreign to their respective jurisdictions. Their admissions should be the grounds for immediate impeachment."

Nine present and former law officers have been arrested in Chicago following a series of FBI stings.

Federal officials say the arrests were aimed at officers who rip off drug dealers.

Those arrested include Illinois state parole agents, police officers, Cook County sheriff's deputies and a former Seattle police detective. The arrests stemmed from five Chicago-area stings between April and June.

Officials said in most cases, the officers would take cash and fake cocaine.

The lawmen would keep the cash and the undercover informant kept the bogus cocaine.
