In the early 20th century, the powers at Remington were looking forward. They viewed the levergun the king of rifles at the time as somewhat old-fashioned and decided it was time to offer hunters a more modern choice. Semi-automatics were just starting to appear and Remington turned to John Browning to come up with a semi-automatic rifle. The result was the Model 8 chambered in rimless versions of the rimmed Winchester cartridges. This new rifle appeared chambered in .25 Remington, .30 Remington and .32 Remington. Then in 1908 Remington went big bore with a completely new cartridge, the .35 Remington. |

The Second Amendment Foundations Investigative Journalism Project has filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the Biden White House in an effort to see how deeply imbedded the gun prohibition movement is within Joe Bidens administration.
Biden stepped into the presidency with an acknowledged gun prohibition agenda. He wants to ban semi-automatic modern sport/utility rifles, and even acknowledged in 2021 he would like to ban 9mm pistols. |

In the nearly three decades since I became executive vice president of the NRA, it has been my great honor to fight for freedom alongside extraordinary patriots like you every single day. Together, weve changed the entire culture surrounding our Second Amendment rights, not just by winning elections and legislative battles, but also by touching millions of lives, one at a time, and kindling in them a passion for the great heritage that you and I inherited from generations of patriots who came before us. |

As was the case with Kamala Harris in 2020, Second Amendment supporters learned that Karen Bass, an anti-Second Amendment extremist (at least when it comes to us), chose to exercise her Second Amendment rights when news broke that two firearms in a lockbox were stolen in a burglary. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Some writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins ... Society is in every state a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one. THOMAS PAINE |
