Don't these jackwagons ever get tired of wasting everyone's time penning these bankrupt pieces of propaganda?
If guns weren't central to the foundation and development of this country's history, there would not be a specific amendment in the Bill of Rights protecting our right to keep and bear them.

There most certainly WAS a "wild west," though it is also true many myths abound about it. Winchester, Colt, Remington, Smith & Wesson and other gun makers provided valuable defense tools for those moving westward. In the 1800s those tools were firearms, in an earlier time they might have been swords or crossbows. No imaginary "need" for them was concocted by the makers, people buying & using them created the demand. The west was not "wild?" Ask George Armstrong Custer...ask Chief Crazy Horse or Sitting Bull, I think you'D get a different story. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
As civil rulers, not having their duty to the people before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens, the people are confirmed by the article in their right to keep and bear their private arms. Tench Coxe in `Remarks on the First Part of the Amendments to the Federal Constitution' under the Pseudonym "A Pennsylvanian" in the Philadelphia Federal Gazette, June 18, 1789 at 2 col. 1. |
