The worst by far is a bill filed in both the House and Senate that would eliminate all gun-free zones in the state. If passed, persons with concealed-weapons permits would be able to carry firearms to pro sports events, bars, police stations, K-12 public schools, public colleges and universities, courthouses, polling places, government meetings, seaports and airport passenger terminals.
Submitters note: Another anti-gun reporter with an agenda. Blood in the streets predictions have not happened anywhere and won't happen in Florida. |

If there is a legitimate reason to keep guns out of a place, there should be controlled access, metal detectors, and armed security present.
Simply posting a no-guns sign and then doing nothing to actually prevent guns is criminally irresponsible. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She well knows that by one enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standards of freedom. JOHN QUINCY ADAMS (1821) |
