Arizonans working overtime to

I have been working in the Phoenix, Arizona office of Recall John McCain
Committee. I am amazed at the level of support this effort is creating
throughout the country. We have received letters of support and donations from
as far away as Florida. The most encouraging side of this effort is that, if
successful, every anti-freedom politico in America should fear for his job.
Senator
McCain has maintained a very smug and arrogant attitude about the recall effort.
When asked recently about the recall he said, "I am not concerned at
all". He is maintaining that his poll numbers are very good and that he is
extraordinarily popular. I wonder what he is smoking in his pipe?
The anti-freedom, McCain-Lieberman Gun Show Bill has mobilized gun owners in
Arizona from all walks of life and from all corners of the state. In addition to
other things this Bill would require centralized registration of all gun show
attendees and the gun show promoter. The promoter can even go to prison for
minor record keeping errors. You tell me how the registration of booksellers and
a beef jerky salesman -- among many other non-gun sellers at gun shows -- is
going to keep guns from criminals!
If his campaign finance reform bill passes you will go to jail for displaying
a campaign yard sign on your own property. Well shut my mouth! Oh, I forgot,
that's the idea!
His health care bill will allow employees to sue their employer for the
audacity of providing them with health care coverage. How many employers will
continue this practice? Next step--HillaryCare!
Phoenix, Arizona has recently approved a new football stadium for the Arizona
Cardinals. After the Federal Aviation Administration voiced concerns about it's
proximity to a major airport, McCain stepped in to provide muscle for the owner
of the Cards and the developer. It was later learned that McCain's Arizona State
Director Larry Pike is married to Cardinal owner Bill Bidwell's daughter Nicole.
Of course McCain's interest in this has nothing to do with the McCain family
interest in a local brewery distributorship and maybe a stadium concession deal.
No influence peddling here, Right!
These days Senator McCain is acting more like a slimy liberal than his
historical fence-sitting moderate position. And this behavior is becoming more
overt in his alignment with the Democrats and the Bill to close the
"so-called" Gun Show Loophole, among his other anti-freedom Bills. As
a matter-of-fact, you read it first on KeepAndBearArms.com, John McCain was seen
in his Cottonwood, AZ compound on July 4 celebrating with none other than
Senator Joe Lieberman and Hollywood celebrities Warren Beatty and Annette Bening.
This information is not expected to be released by the media until Monday July
16, 2001. Yeah, that's my idea of celebrating freedom and independence! First
Daschle, now Lieberman. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see which way he
leans.
Patriot activists from all over the country should watch this recall effort
closely and threaten their own elected representatives with the same fate if
they violate their oath of office. It is time for them to remember that they
work for US, not vice-versa!
