36 Congressional Races
A Scorecard to Tell if the Grabbers Have a Happy Election

by Sean Oberle

Just like every interest group this year, the grabbers have issued lists of candidates whom they want to lose and win. From four such lists, I have assembled 36 races that the antis will be watching Nov.7.

The only caveat that Id offer is that it would be very presumptuous to assume that a victory or loss hinged on the gun issue; if that occurs, it will get sorted out in the post election reporting.

Nonetheless, a victory for our guy is bad for the grabbers and vice versa. Thus, I offer this scorecard only as a window into the emotions of the grabbers on election night.

The four groups that issued voter lists this year are:

A) Handgun Control Inc. (HCI)
http://www.handguncontrol.com/ddozen/index.asp

B) Million Mom March (MMM) http://www.millionmommarch/org/vote

C) Move On (MVO), a group created to punish Republicans who voted for impeachment, but which has expanded to target legislators who do not push the anti right to bear arms agenda http://www.moveon.org

D) Change the Congress Project Gun Vote (PGV), sponsored by opponent of the right to bear arms, California Democrat Barbara Boxer http://www.changethecongress.com/gunvote

Our guy or gal is first. The incumbents title is before his or her name (no title means open seat). Following each race are the groups weighing in.
